The 2026 Turkish Go Championship will be played on 7 and 8 November in the Mudanya district of Bursa, at the Mudanya Municipality Youth Centre. The 10th Bursa Go Tournament will also be held in the same venue over the same weekend. Anyone can participate in the Bursa tournament regardless of their level.

On behalf of the Turkish Go Association (TGOD) (Türkiye Go Derneği), Go players in Bursa are organising both tournaments with the contributions of Mudanya Municipality and Homer Yapı. By decision of our Executive Board, the 10th Bursa Go Tournament will be counted as a Class 3 tournament in the National Playoff System.

The main tournament of the championship will be played with eight players. We will announce the players on the championship page once they are finalised.

The entry fee for the Bursa tournament is 350 TL for those who are members of a Go association and pre-register, and 500 TL for non-members who pre-register. Players who arrive without pre-registering will pay 600 TL. The deadline for pre-registration is 4 November.

10 rooms have been reserved for players at Mudanya Öğretmenevi, and special rates have been obtained from Armistis Hotel. You can specify your accommodation preference on the pre-registration form.

You can also pre-register via TGOD Mobil. Simply open the event in the app and tap “Register Now”. Pairings, results and announcements throughout the tournament will also come from the app. Open the event on TGOD Mobil
